Dr. Owen Weston, B.A., M.A., M.D iv, D.Min., Ph.D.
Dr. Weston, besides being a recognized leading expert in church planting and
church revitalization, he is also a professor, consultant and coach. In addition to starting and pastoring several churches, many of which grew to megachurch stature, he sets up seminars, clinics, schools and orphanages. He started out studying for medicine but felt a need to form CPR Institute to help non-profit organizations. He has spent years
mentoring leading churches and pastors in turning dead and dying
churches into life-giving, growing churches.
He has been a professor at leading universities and a consultant to several denominations. After decades of experience, he has proven that "every church can double in 24 months" using the biblical concepts found in 24 to Double. He has put together C4G, "Coaching for Growth," a training to prepare leaders to coach mostly Non-profit organizations, and 2C2D, " two crusades or clinics to double ones impact in an area.
Interests
Doco enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters and their husbands, and on their horse ranch in Nashville. He has helped work in Orphanages and has personally taken care of and helped seven orphans. He also enjoys trips back to his hometown in South Africa and London, but Sail boating, being around water or at the beach, Sooner football, and a good cup of hot tea with cream are things "to die for."
